The majority of bass tab sheets you’ll find scattered around the internet are so boring. Uninspiring black boxes with lines that are more often than not too thick to write over legibly.
So, I decided to design my own in the hopes of improving the situation!
The blank bass tab PDF sheets that you’ll find below all feature thin and funky orange lines that are super-easy to clearly scribble on.
Your bass tab will really stand out and be easy to read thanks to the contrast between the lines and ink.
But don’t worry if you’re not a fan of the color! Simply set your printer to use only black ink and the sheets will emerge in a nice light grey shade instead. No dramas!
Each of these sheets will print perfectly to a standard A4 piece of paper.
However, as they are in a PDF format you can happily print them as large (or small!) as you’d like without losing any clarity.
I have provided three different layout options so that you can choose the best size for your specific needs. Pick from 8, 10, or 12 rows of blank bass tab!
Or, you can also select from 4, 5, or 6 rows including a music staff.

The charts decrease in size as the number of rows increases.
If you’d like to be able to jot down your tablature in larger writing, pick the 8 row version. Or if you need to squeeze more onto the page pick the smaller 10 or 12 row layouts.
Similarly, you can pick the 4 row version with tab for extra space, or the 6 row variation for more complex notation.
These bass guitar tab sheets are ideal for penning your next hit song, figuring out the latest track from your favorite musician, or as teaching material for your bass guitar students.
